Back collar DTF transfer placement: Size range is 1″–3″ wide by 1″–3″ tall. The average adult size is 2″ x 2″ and youth is 1.5″ x 1.5″. Standard placement is 2″ down from the collar, centered. For larger designs, position 1″ down from the collar instead. This placement is ideal for neck labels, brand tags, and small logos.
Center chest DTF transfer placement and size guide
Center chest DTF transfer placement: Size range is 6″–10″ wide by 2″–10″ tall. The average adult size is 8″ x 4″ and youth is 6″ x 3″. Standard placement is 4″ down from the collar, centered on the chest. Taller designs can start 3″ down. This is the most popular placement for graphic tees and custom apparel.
Full back DTF transfer placement and size guide
Full back DTF transfer placement: Size range is 11″–13″ wide by 13″–15″ tall. The average adult size is 12″ x 14″ and youth is 10″ x 12″. Standard placement is 3″ down from the collar, centered. Designs 6″ or shorter can go 4″ down. Full back prints are great for team jerseys, event shirts, and bold statement designs.

Full front DTF transfer placement: Size range is 10″–12″ wide by 10″–14″ tall. The average adult size is 11″ x 11″ and youth is 9″ x 9″. Standard placement is 3″ down from the collar, centered. Oversized DTF transfer placement: Size range is 12″–15″ wide by 14″–16″ tall. The average adult size is 13″ x 15″ and youth is 10″ x 12″. Standard placement is 2.5″ down from the collar, centered. For oversized back placement, position 3.5″ down. This style works well for trendy streetwear and fashion-forward designs.
Sleeve DTF transfer placement and size guide
Sleeve DTF transfer placement: Size range is 1″–3″ wide by 1″–3″ tall. The average adult size is 2″ x 2″ and youth is 1.5″ x 1.5″. Upper back DTF transfer placement: Size range is 10″–14″ wide by 2″–6″ tall. The average adult size is 12″ x 4″ and youth is 10″ x 2.5″. Standard placement is 4″ down from the collar, centered.
