Orders & Shipping
How long does it take to receive my order?
We print Monday through Friday and most orders ship within 72 hours. Shipping transit depends on the carrier you choose at checkout, but most customers receive their transfers within 3 to 5 business days after shipment.
Do you offer rush production?
Yes. Rush production is available for customers who need transfers quickly, and faster shipping methods are available at checkout. Rush availability may vary depending on order volume, so we recommend ordering early when possible.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. Teddy Transfers proudly ships anywhere in the United States via tracked USPS or UPS.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you’ll automatically receive a tracking number via email. You can also look up status anytime at our order tracker.
Can I change my shipping address?
Yes — as long as your order hasn’t shipped yet. Sign in and go to My Account → your order, then click Edit shipping address to update it. Once your shipping label has been purchased (your order shows a tracking number / is marked shipped), the address is locked to prevent misdeliveries. In that case, contact us right away and we’ll do our best to help if the package hasn’t left yet.
Where is Teddy Transfers located?
Teddy Transfers is a custom apparel transfer company based in Casa Grande, Arizona. All orders are printed in house and shipped nationwide, so we can keep tight quality control and fast turnaround times.
Do you have minimums?
No minimums and no setup fees. Order one transfer or a hundred sheets, same fast turnaround either way.
Gang Sheets & Pricing
What is a gang sheet?
A gang sheet is one large sheet that holds multiple designs on a single transfer. Packing your designs together maximizes the sheet and significantly lowers your cost per print.
How do I create a gang sheet?
Use our DTF gang sheet builder right from our site. Upload your designs, arrange them on the sheet, resize as needed, and check out when you’re ready.
How is pricing calculated?
DTF gang sheets are priced per square inch on our 22″ wide sheet, with tiered pricing that gets cheaper as the sheet gets longer (as low as $0.025 per sq in on sheets 105″ and up). UV DTF runs on an 11″ wide sheet and starts at $5 for a 5″ sheet. No setup fees, no minimums.
Do you offer custom sizing?
Yes. DTF gang sheets are sold by the inch, so you can order exactly the length you need (5″ all the way up to 150″). For individual transfers, head to our DTF Transfers by Size page.
Do you offer wholesale DTF transfers?
Our gang sheets are the wholesale option. The more designs you pack onto a sheet, and the longer the sheet, the lower your cost per design. See how wholesale pricing works.
Artwork & Files
What file format should I send?
High-resolution PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI. Flatten the file (no editable layers) and avoid JPEGs (no transparency), lines thinner than 1pt, and neon or fluorescent effects unless your file uses halftones.
What resolution should my artwork be?
300 DPI at the actual size you’re printing at is strongly recommended for crisp, vibrant prints. Use our Artwork Quality Checker to confirm before you order.
Do you check artwork before printing?
No — preparing print-ready artwork is up to you. Our builder shows each upload’s effective DPI as you add it so you can judge sharpness yourself, but we don’t review or correct files. We print exactly what you upload, so what you send is what you get.
Can you fix blurry images?
If your artwork is blurry or low resolution, contact us before ordering. We may be able to clean it up for a design fee. We won’t silently re-touch a file you uploaded.
Do colors print exactly as shown on screen?
Colors may vary slightly between your monitor and the final print due to monitor calibration, lighting, and fabric color. We print true four-color CMYK only. RGB or CMYK files both work and our color profile converts cleanly.
Heat Press & Application
What heat press settings should I use?
- Cotton: 300°F (149°C) for 10-15 seconds using medium to heavy pressure.
- Polyester: 285°F (140°C) for 10 seconds using medium to heavy pressure.
- Allow the product to cool to the touch and cold peel.
- Using a teflon sheet, do a second press for 10 seconds. This seats the edges of the design.
Hot peel or cold peel?
Cold peel. Allow the transfer and garment to cool completely before peeling so the adhesive fully sets into the fabric. After peeling, cover with a teflon sheet and press again for 10 seconds for maximum durability.
Will these work on any fabric?
DTF transfers adhere to cotton, polyester, blends, triblends, leather, denim, and nylon. If you can press it, our transfers will stick to it. Works on both light and dark garments.
Should I test first?
Yes. Always test one transfer before full production. Heat presses and fabrics vary, and a quick test confirms your settings before you commit a whole run.
Do I need a heat press for UV DTF?
No. UV DTF is cold-apply: peel the laminate, stick the decal on the surface, rub it down with a card or squeegee, then pull the carrier sheet off. No heat needed. Hand-wash only for best longevity.
What’s the difference between DTF and UV DTF?
DTF is for fabric (shirts, hoodies, hats, totes) and requires a heat press. UV DTF is for hard surfaces (tumblers, glass, ceramic, wood, metal, phone cases) and applies cold without heat.
Care & Durability
How long should I wait before washing?
Wait 24 hours before the first wash. This gives the adhesive time to fully cure.
How should DTF garments be washed?
Turn inside out, wash cold on a gentle cycle, tumble dry low or hang dry. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. Don’t iron directly on the design.
How should UV DTF items be cleaned?
Hand wash only. Not microwave-safe. With proper care, your decal will last for years.
How long do DTF transfers last?
When applied correctly, our DTF transfers can last up to 100+ wash cycles without cracking, peeling, or significant fading. We’ve tested every batch in house.

Do you accept returns?
Because all transfers are custom printed, we don’t accept returns. If there’s a printing error on our end, we’ll make it right.
