How to apply & press

Cotton: 300°F for 10–15s, medium–heavy pressure. Polyester: 285°F for 10s, medium–heavy pressure. Cold peel once cool, then re-press 10s with a teflon sheet to seat the edges. Full guide: application instructions.

Care & wash instructions

Wait 24 hours before first wash. Machine wash cold inside-out, tumble dry low, no bleach. Iron only on the reverse side.

Description

Care & Application Instructions

Please note: A heat press is required for these transfers. While a Cricut Hand Press or iron “will work,” we highly recommend a heat press for the smoothest quality. We are not responsible for any damage caused by an iron or EasyPress, so please use at your own risk.

How to Press

  1. Front — locate the patch: press at a lower temp of 200°F for 10 seconds.
  2. Back — firm it down: turn the garment inside out and press at a higher temp of 300°F for 20 seconds.

Pressing this way keeps the chenille nice and fluffy. The chenille is too thick for heat to pass straight through, so the low-temp front press positions the patch and the high-temp back press firms it securely in place.

If you haven’t worked with one of these fabrics before, always press a test sample before running a bulk batch.
